My first visit for birthday lunch - (kept it discreet) visited on a Monday lunch hour and it was busy which is an excellent sign. We sat outside, however the I had a chance to look in the restaurant and it was bigger than I thought with plush glamourous decor. The staff was super friendly, welcoming and was very attentive to all customers inside and outside. I treated myself to a beautifully flavoured half lobster with linguine. delizioso! Thank you and will surely go again! :-)Vegetarian options: Selection of Starters, pasta, pizza dishes and desserts

Seven of us visited the restaurant for dinner on a Saturday evening - it was absolutely heaving with people so it was a good job we had booked. The staff are all friendly and efficient, we were attended to without having to call someone over. They checked up on us at good intervals - not so easy to get right as too long interval might make you feel forgotten and too short intervals would seem as if they're hassling you - perfect. The solid square table accommodated us all, the chairs were sturdy and comfortable, plates, glasses and cutlery were nicely laid out and everything nice and clean.Orders for drinks to start off with, everything served together and accurately. Orders for starters and mains taken next, all starters coming together, cleared away in one go, mains served together and again cleared in one go. With the restaurant so busy I was impressed that the standard of service was so good.Everyone enjoyed their starters, arancini, calamari, salmon and prawn etc. I had the battered calamari, very good, lightly battered and crisp and I recommend it.The mains were also very good and in decent portions. I had asked for the calf liver in balsamic vinegar to be as rare as the chef thought he could get away with and it arrived, soft, tender, juicy and tasty - lovely! The veal escalope was pronounced very good, as were the pizzas and various varieties of pasta ordered. The bill came after the right interval and was % correct. % service charge was added as advertised on the menu which we happily paid. The sole issue I have with the restaurant is the NOISE. The chairs were padded but apart from that all other surfaces were hard, including the exposed structure of the ceiling. Some form of noise attenuation would not go amiss as the chatter within the full restaurant bounces around the room getting louder and louder as people attempt to make themselves heard. We could only talk to who we were sitting alongside. Talking across the table was not possible.I find the level of noise pollution within restaurants to be a massive problem. It is rare to come across a place with enough soft furnishings on the wall and sound-absorbing ceiling panels to reduce noise so that diners' conversations can take place at a normal level. There may also be the factor that some people can get so excited at dinner that they can't help but become animated and whoop like a gibbon at every opportunity. Such an eventuality cannot be blamed on the restaurant.

I have been to Cocorico twice in person and have ordered numerous times through Eats. Unfortunately one of the dishes I ordered on Uber Eats had to be a joke right? £ for small rubbery scallops and prawns??!! I would say this restaurant is such a ‘hit and miss’. On the first occasion I went last year in July, the food was brilliant and the atmosphere had a great vibe. Fast forward one year on and the food wasn’t great. Cold dishes and service awful. This isn’t the restaurant to go to if you want friendly staff. They just don’t care. So that’s why I prefer to order via Uber Eats so you don’t have to deal with them direct lol. I have to say the Hawaiian pizza is prob one of the best pizzas I have ever had. My other ‘go to’ is their seafood spaghetti ...just amazing ! If you’re ordering online my advice don’t order anything new like I did. Stick what you know and save your money.
